Product · Conversational AI Beta

The AI that runs your gate's intake conversation.

When a plate isn't on the list, the visitor calls the number or scans the QR at the gate, and our agent picks up, with a live camera view of who's there. It asks why they're here, checks your rules, and decides whether to open, around the clock, no human on call.

Conversational AI is in beta, preview it now in the interactive demo while we roll it out to production.

How the visitor connects

Call the number, or scan the QR at the gate.

No app to download, no account to make. Signage at the gate gives a visitor two ways into the same AI agent, and the gate's camera is watching the whole time.

  • Call or scan, from your own phone

Call the number posted at the gate, or scan the QR code there. The agent answers in seconds, no app to download, no account to make.

  • It can see you, not just hear you

The gate's camera gives the agent a live view of you and your vehicle, so it confirms you're actually at the gate and reads the situation, a delivery van, a person on foot, not just your words.

  • It only works in person

Because the QR lives at the gate and the camera confirms you're there, the agent only ever engages someone physically in front of it. There's no remote way to phone in and talk the gate open.

How a call works

From the gate to a decision, with a fallback that never leaves anyone stuck.

A match opens the gate. Anything it can't verify defaults to shut and follows your fallback, escalate to your team, or hand to your existing intercom. Press play, or flip whether the visitor matches one of your rules.

Where it earns its keep

Faster than a guard. Kinder than a keypad. Awake at 3am.

  • After-hours deliveries and carriers, when no guard is on, the gate still answers, checks the load against your rules, and logs it.
  • Drop-ins a list doesn't already cover, a guest without a pass, a contractor, a service call: greeted, checked against your rules, and let in or held.
  • Peak inbound without the queue, when trucks stack up at shift change, every lane has an agent instead of one guard working the line.
  • Multi-language gates, it speaks the visitor's language, so a driver who doesn't share your staff's language still gets through.
Safe by design

An AI at the gate, with guardrails.

Defaults to shut

Any uncertainty (a name it can't verify, audio it can't parse, anything off-script) and the gate stays closed. It never opens on a guess.

Only opens for someone who's there

The agent engages only a visitor physically at the gate, reached via the QR posted there or the gate's own number, and confirmed on the live camera. No one can phone in from elsewhere and talk it open.

You set every rule

The agent only grants what your policy allows: your lists, your delivery windows, your carriers, your hours. It can't improvise access.

Every call is on the record

The full conversation is transcribed and logged with the crossing, searchable for audits, disputes, and incident review.

Always a way through

If the AI can't resolve it, it follows your fallback: escalate to your team, or hand off to your existing intercom, keypad, or remotes. No one is left stuck at your gate.

Questions buyers ask
How does a visitor actually talk to it?
They call the number or scan the QR code posted at the gate, from their own phone, no app, no account. The agent answers with a live view from the gate's camera, so it can see who and what is there. Because the QR is at the gate and the camera confirms you're present, the agent only ever engages someone physically in front of it.
Is Conversational AI available now?
It's in beta. You can try it today in the interactive demo, and we're rolling it out to production gates. The rest of the platform (plate recognition, access lists, guest passes, and the dashboard) is fully live.
What languages does it speak?
It greets and converses in the visitor's language, so a driver or guest who doesn't share your staff's language still gets through. We confirm the languages your site needs during setup.
What does it need at the gate?
Often nothing new. The visitor uses their own phone, calling the number or scanning the QR code posted at the gate, and the gate's camera already gives the agent its live view. Where you'd rather visitors use a fixed unit, it also works with an existing intercom or callbox. We confirm the setup from your gate photos.
What if it can't understand someone, or can't decide?
The gate stays shut and it follows your fallback rule, escalate to your team for a remote decision, or hand off to your existing intercom, keypad, or remotes. The visitor is never left stuck, and the full exchange is logged.
Is the conversation recorded, and who can see it?
Every call is transcribed and stored with the crossing, visible to your authorized staff under role-based access. Retention is configurable per site, and privacy modes are available, the same controls as the rest of the platform.
Where does the voice processing run?
Reading the plate and opening the gate both happen right at your site and never wait on the internet. The voice agent is the one exception: understanding speech runs in the cloud over a secure connection, which is part of why it's in beta. If the connection drops, the gate falls back to your keypad, intercom, or remotes, the AI is an addition, never a dependency.
Can it be talked into opening the gate?
No. It doesn't take someone's word for access, it only grants what matches your lists and rules, and anything it can't verify stays shut. Every attempt, granted or not, is logged.
How the beta works

From the demo to your gate, one step at a time.

  1. 01
    Try the demo

Run the scenarios and hear how the agent handles a delivery, a contractor, and a no-appointment visitor.

  2. 02
    Tell us about your gate

Send a few photos. We confirm fit and how visitors connect, the number and QR posted at the gate, with the camera's live view.

  3. 03
    Early-access pilot

We set it up on one gate with your rules and lists. You watch the transcripts and tune what counts.

  4. 04
Roll out as it goes GA

Expand across your gates as we move Conversational AI from beta to general availability.
